The Sour Strap Flogger is named after the iconic 'gay bacon' candy of our childhood and is just as fun. It has a lathe-turned handle made out of sustainably grown Tasmanian Oak timber, with a grooved handle for grip. Each of the small grooves has been given an infill dye of a different colour of the rainbow. The whole item has been finished with a home made blend of linseed oil and bees wax to nourish the wood and bring out the beautiful grain.
 
The tail is a length of rainbow polyester strapping/webbing, folded over itself and then secured in the base. While also incredibly striking, the fold in the tail means that the loop expands slightly as the flogger is swung, and makes a delightfully loud cracking noise as it hits. Given the width of the strap, it produces a sensation similar to light-to-moderate spanking, rather than a sting of something like a Dragon's Tail. The sound and sensation can also be heightened by dipping the tail loop in water before play!
 
This item is a hand-crafted design. As a hand made item, there are minor imperfections, scuffs and bumps, as pictured.
